Samsung May Kill Off The Regular Galaxy S26 in 2026

Rumours are circulating that Samsung may alter its flagship Galaxy S series lineup by dropping the regular Galaxy S26 in 2026. Historically, Samsung has released multiple models, including the base, Plus, and Ultra variants. However, similar to its recent approach with the Galaxy Tab S9 series, which omitted the standard model, Samsung might only release the Galaxy S26+ and S26 Ultra.

The shift is reportedly due to competition from Chinese manufacturers, which are producing smaller, high-spec smartphones. While Ice Universe, a known leaker, has shared this information, it’s essential to take it with some caution.

This news comes shortly after Samsung’s launch of the Galaxy S24 FE, which includes enhancements such as a better display, the Exynos 2400e chipset, and improved cooling.
