On Thursday, Pakistan and Russia agreed to enhance educational cooperation, building on their two-decade-long relationship. A significant outcome of this collaboration is the decision to open a Russian Facilitation Center in Islamabad to assist Pakistani students in gaining admission to Russian educational institutes.
This initiative was set in motion during a visit by a high-level Russian delegation led by Andrey Korneev, State Secretary — Deputy Minister of Education, and Konstantin Mogilevsky, Deputy Minister of Science and Higher Education of Russia. The delegation met with officials from the Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training (MoFEPT) of Pakistan.
