In a promising initiative for education in Gilgit-Baltistan, Secretary of Higher Technical and Special Education, Fareed Ahmed, announced efforts to uplift public sector colleges in the region. Speaking as the chief guest at a seminar held at Fatima Jinnah Govt. Degree College Gilgit, Fareed revealed that Sukkur IBA University will offer scholarships to 20 deserving students from GB for a four-year BS program through the OGDCL-National Talent Hunt Program 2024.
“This opportunity will ignite a spirit of competition among the students and ensure access to high-quality education, securing their future,” said Fareed.

He praised the Sukkur IBA team, especially Additional Director Attaullah Jatoi, for conducting a series of seminars across public sector colleges in GB, highlighting the positive impact of bringing such opportunities to the students of remote areas.
